Hello! We are Paulina, Julia, Agata and Malgorzata.

We are four students of the University of Gdansk and we are English majors that also learn programming. Each of us is interested in different things, but we found common ground and decided to create the website you are currently browsing.

Why transcription, you may ask?

Have you ever come across some strange letters in dictionary just under the word you were checking? This is International Phonetic Alphabet. Thanks to that, you can learn how a particular word is pronunced in a given accent (e.g. in English it's most likely Received Pronunciation). From our own experience, we are aware that learning pronunciation can be frustrating and hard in general. That's why we come up with an idea of creating such website to help others.
